Item
Sponsorship Opportunity Accessibility Sponsorship
Kentucky Horse Park
1. Purpose of this Document
A. This sponsorship opportunity is being issued by the Kentucky Horse Park, an agency of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and is issued in accordance with KRS 45A.097.
The purpose of this document is to solicit responses from one or more individuals or companies interested in reaching a diverse audience, including highly affluent equestrians, as an Accessibility Sponsor with the Kentucky Horse Park. With over 200 events per year and over 1.7 million visitors from around the world, this sponsorship will generate thousands of impressions for the interested party.
2. Background
A. Situated in the heart of the Bluegrass on over 1,200 pristine acres, the Kentucky Horse Park is widely known as one of the state’s leading tourist attractions, a state-of-the-art event venue, one of the nation’s premier equine competition facilities, and the state’s largest resort-style campground. Major events such as the Kentucky Three#Day Event, Junior League Horse Show, United States Equestrian Federation Pony Finals, and The National Horse Show, all are held annually at the Kentucky Horse Park. However, you will also reach a much more expansive audience with non#equestrian events like: Truck & Tractor Pulls, Weddings, Rodeos, 5K’s, Youth Soccer Leagues, Dog Shows and Music Festivals, just to name a few. At the Kentucky Horse Park, you will reach local and international visitors and equestrians all year long.
B. About the Accessibility Sponsorship:
With an estimated 1,700,000 visitors and competitors visiting the Kentucky Horse Park annually, there is a tremendous need for assistance items for individuals with limited mobility, or those needing assistance (adults and children), throughout the expansive 1,200-acre venue. This includes transport/mobility/accessibility throughout the Kentucky Horse Park attraction-side, throughout the competition area, and the Kentucky Horse Park Campground, a 260-space campground which remains occupied for more than 43,000 nights/year.
Golf Cart Shuttles are driven by volunteers or Kentucky Horse Park staff to facilitate transportation throughout the venue, as a great amenity for the many visitors and competitors throughout the year. As well, items like wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, ramps, changing stations, and other amenities are needed for improved guest experience, making accessibility throughout the park and campground a top priority.
Ten sponsorships are available. The sponsorship for the Accessibility items can be provided as cash or in-kind products.
Desired Cash Only: $5,000 per year Desired In-Kind Products: $2,500 per year
