The scope of work includes demolition and reconstruction of an existing equipment garage with modifications for new overhead and personnel doors, construction of a 12'-0" x 30'-0" maintenance shop addition with new foundation and floor slab, and complete demolition and replacement of a 24'-0" x 32'-0" lawn and garden storage shed with a new pole barn structure. Contractors were encouraged to visit the site on July 14 or 15, 2022, between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Central Time at 3179 State Route 45 South, Mayfield, Kentucky 42066. The solicitation closed on July 26, 2022, at 2:00 P.M., with questions to be submitted by noon on July 18, 2022, to the project architect. No bidders' conference was held.
The solicitation was issued as Modification Version 3, indicating addendum changes to the original specifications and drawings available through the State Plan Room at no charge. Bidders were required to submit all documents electronically through the Owner's Document Collaboration System (eCommunications) and MOVEit secure file transfer, with bids date and time stamped upon receipt. No late bids were accepted, and bidders assumed full responsibility for timely delivery. Bidders were required to identify their position as prime bidder, miscellaneous subcontractor, material supplier, or other entity. Addendum two clarified that Department of Corrections COVID requirements did not apply to this project. All bid results were posted to Lynn Imaging planroom following bid opening and review, with the successful bidder subject to contact for any additional information requirements.
