About this file
This is a Request for Bids (RFB) document issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources for a construction project in Anderson County. The RFB solicits competitive bids for the FW-004-24-River Road Repair Project, which involves reinforcing two low water crossings (Sites 2 and 3) at Taylorsville Wildlife Management Area by constructing concrete crossings to replace existing gravel surfaces. These improvements will reduce maintenance requirements and minimize seasonal road closures caused by weather-related damage. The project provides public access to the Salt River for fishing and adjacent land for hunting and outdoor activities. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for April 16, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Eastern Time at River Road in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The solicitation closing date is April 30, 2024 at 12:00 P.M., with the solicitation number RFB 660 2400000568.
All bids must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system by the deadline; paper submissions via postal services or hand delivery are not accepted. Bidders must be registered in the Vendor Self Service (VSS) system prior to submission and should allow 24-48 hours for registration completion. Bidders are required to enter their bid amount in the Contract Amount field and upload all bid documents as a single combined PDF attachment; failure to do so will render the bid non-responsive. Technical questions should be directed to Project Manager Tom Burberry at 502-545-4752, while procurement questions should be directed to Purchasing Agent Amanda Lewis at 502-892-4409. Complete project plans and specifications are available at no charge through the State of Kentucky Plan Room website at https://www.stateofkyplanroom.com. All results will be posted to the Plan Room website following bid opening and review.
