About this file
This is Addendum 1 to an Invitation to Bid issued by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources for the River Road Repair Project in Anderson County, Kentucky (ITB No. FW-004-24, RFB-660-2400000568). The addendum, dated April 22, 2024, clarifies specifications and requirements for the road repair project, which includes concrete pouring work at multiple crossings. Key clarifications address excavated material disposal, tree removal restrictions due to endangered bat environmental protections (trees over 5 inches DBH cannot be removed), concrete specifications (Class A concrete at 3,500 PSI is acceptable), and the applicability of Davis Bacon federal wage rates. The addendum confirms that the project estimate includes all three crossings and that the 30-day timeline may be adjusted for weather or water level delays that render the site inaccessible. A site visit meeting was conducted with bidders, as documented by a sign-in sheet included in the addendum.
No pricing information, set-asides, incumbency details, or funding sources are specified in this addendum document. The addendum functions solely to modify and clarify terms and conditions of the original invitation to bid through responses to contractor questions regarding project logistics and specifications.
