Answer #41: If the office is closed due to weather, we still have staff working in the building for emergency operations. The contractor would still report for normal cleaning services. If you didn’t provide staff, it would be deducted from the monthly fee.
Question #42: If one of the two regularly assigned employees is unexpectedly unavailable, may the contractor use a temporary or replacement employee who has completed the required background check, or must all replacement personnel receive separate prior approval from the agency?
Answer #42: They can provide a replacement employee as long as that employee has completed all the requirements, background checks, and paperwork.
Question #43: Can the agency clarify the methodology used to calculate liquidated damages for missed services or staffing shortages, including the basis for calculating the 15% assessment per occurrence?
Answer #43: If you provide no staffing on a day the daily rate would be calculated and deducted from the monthly rate.
