About this file
This document is a Request for Bid (RFB) issued by the Kentucky State Fair Board (KSFB) for Waste Disposal Services for the Kentucky Exposition Center (KEC) and Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC). The RFB seeks to establish a one-year Master Agreement, with four optional one-year renewal periods, for the provision of various waste disposal services including rental of roll-off containers, compactors, and transfer trailers, as well as disposal and hauling charges. Vendors must bid on all line items, and the contract will be awarded to the bidder submitting the overall lowest total price. The RFB has an initial closing date of February 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM EST.
The RFB provides detailed technical requirements and specifications for the requested services, including response time, invoicing, licensing, and insurance requirements. It also outlines the evaluation criteria, which is based solely on the total price offered. The KSFB reserves the right to adjust quantities as needed and will deduct 1% per day from the vendor's invoice for failure to meet delivery/performance measures. Pricing shall remain firm for the contract period, with potential for price increases or decreases based on industry-wide changes.
