The mower must have a cutting width between 19.6 and 21 inches, a cutting height of 2 to 14.6 inches, and a cutting capacity of at least 3 inches in diameter. It requires a tractor PTO of 70-100 horsepower, a gearbox of 220-250 horsepower, and an acceptable speed of 540-1000 RPM. The driveline must be category 5 or greater for the main and wing decks. The decks must be made of 7-gauge or heavier steel with reinforcement in vital areas and include grease fittings at all pivot points. Tires should be between 20-24 inches, foam filled or better for both road travel and varied landscapes, and not laminated. Safety features such as single or double deflectors made of chain or stronger material are also required.

This statement of work is in support of federal contract opportunity number FE230031390007 issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command to procure one 15-foot and one 20-foot flex wing mower.
