About this file

This is a bid price sheet attachment for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Invitation to Bid (ITB-2612) for Forensic Biology and STR DNA Testing Services. The solicitation requests competitive sealed bids for comprehensive forensic laboratory services including forensic biology examinations, STR DNA testing, Y-STR DNA testing, mitochondrial DNA testing, and expert witness services. The price sheet requires vendors to provide itemized pricing across 36 distinct service line items organized into service families: Forensic Biology (items 1-9), STR DNA Testing for Sexual Assault Evidence Kits (items 10-18), STR DNA Testing non-SAK samples (items 19-23), Y-STR DNA Testing (items 24-26), Mitochondrial DNA Testing (items 27-31), DNA Other services (items 32-33), and Subject Matter Expert services including pre-trial consultations, depositions, and courtroom testimony (items 34-36). The contract includes an initial term with five optional renewal years, with pricing required for Years 1 through 6.

All pricing shall be all-inclusive and include incidentals and associated costs required to comply with solicitation requirements. Vendor-generated price lists are not acceptable; bidders must complete the provided attachment with specific dollar amounts for each service, indicating $0 for services not offered. Bidders will be strictly held to bid prices, and any optional renewal years are subject to a maximum price increase of three percent per year. No remuneration beyond the bid price is available to bidders, and charges for courtroom testimony must be singular and all-inclusive per day or quarter day thereof, with travel, per diem, and incidentals not eligible for separate itemization or reimbursement. A subpoena is required for payment of expert witness services.
