About this file

This document is Addendum 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) FDLE-ITB-2551, issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for the Tallahassee Regional Operations Center Fence Installation project. The addendum, dated June 18, 2025, modifies page 10 of the original ITB document and serves as a notice of responses to potential vendor questions. The solicitation seeks a qualified vendor to install a fence at the FDLE Tallahassee Regional Operations Center, with a bid response deadline of June 23, 2025. The project requires the installation of an eight-foot tall fence with two powered sliding vehicle gates, one manual walking gate, and specific requirements for vendor staffing and conduct.

The addendum clarifies vendor responsibilities, including ensuring electrical power access for gates, providing qualified employees who will work under direct supervision, and adhering to FDLE's rules and regulations. The vendor must wear company-identifiable attire and conduct themselves professionally. A critical requirement is a three-year warranty covering both manufacturer and installation aspects, which begins from the date of installation and acceptance by FDLE. The document emphasizes the vendor's obligation to properly supervise employees, direct tasks efficiently, and maintain a professional demeanor throughout the project's execution.
