About this file
This document is an addendum to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) FDLE ITB 2501 issued by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) for the purchase of 240 High Rate Series Data Center batteries. The addendum provides responses to questions received from potential vendors and includes an amended page 23 of the original ITB document. The ITB has a reply opening date of August 16, 2024. Section 1.9 and 3.11(A) provide information regarding site visits. Section 4.6 prohibits the employment of unauthorized aliens, and Section 4.7 outlines security and confidentiality requirements for contractor personnel accessing FDLE facilities.
The ITB also includes pricing and contracting requirements. Section 287.05701 F.S. states that FDLE does not give preference to vendors based on social, political, or ideological interests. Section 287.1345 F.S. requires vendors to provide a written certification that the commodities offered have not been produced, in whole or in part, by forced labor. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification and potential legal consequences.
