SITE VISIT
Tuesday June 7th, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Eastern Time.
Attendees for the site visit will need to bring a state issued photo ID and tell the guard at the gate that they have a meeting with Eric Evans (Ph: 240-402-0884) in the MOD 2 building. Their vehicles are subject to search. They will then be required to sign-in with the guard within the MOD2 building and be escorted from that point on. The MOD 2 entrance is at the rear of the building (follow signs and then look for entrance at rear of building with the CVM sign out front and Flag Poles).
WHAT IS THE PAST “monthly & annual” QUANTITY USAGES OF THE "LN2?”
Per our SOW, monthly usage is estimated at 2,234 gallons/month, putting the annual estimate at 26,808 gallons (or 2,496,000 SCF).
WHAT IS THE TANK INSTALLATION “transition & phase-in” WINDOW (i.e. how many days)?
This is for the prospective contractor to propose to the government. All transition related effort needs to be included in the proposal including time and a proposal to ensure liquid nitrogen supply to equipment is uninterrupted.
WHAT ABOUT A ONE-TIME “CLIN” FOR THE “tank rigging & Install”?
If the transition effort is not included in the cost of the lease, then a one-time charge would be acceptable.
WILL THERE BE A NEED FOR TELEMETRY (MONITORING OF THE TANK LEVEL) AND A RESERVE TANK?
With regard to telemetry, there is a tank level/pressure monitor on the current tank. The vendor should provide an adequate system to ensure that the supply of liquid nitrogen does not run out; I assume a telemetry unit is the best standard practice, but the vendor will need to propose the proper setup for our needs.
Based on the current setup, we don’t need to require a reserve tank.
