SOLICITATION NUMBER # FDA-16-RFP-1160119
Studies to Enhance FDA Communications Addressing Medical Countermeasures Question 1: RFP, p.3, Section 3.2, 2nd paragraph: The SOW proposes 24 groups in 5 cities. Should this be 25 groups, allowing 5 focus groups in each city?
Answer 1: Yes. 25 groups, 5 focus groups in each city.
Question 2: RFP, p. 3, Section 3.2, 2nd paragraph: The SOW stipulates that focus groups will be video recorded. In past projects, IRB/OMB representatives have expressed concerns about videotaping because it violates respondent confidentiality. Is it appropriate to substitute video streaming (allowing FDA staff to watch the focus groups in real time) and eliminate video recording?
Answer 2: Yes to video streaming vs video capture if it violates OMB.
Question 3: Have you identified the 5 cities where your focus groups will be conducted?
Answer 3: Responders should recommend cities in their proposals.
