This is a Request for Information (RFI) and market research survey issued by the U.S. Air Force seeking potential sources to repair AN/ALR-56 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR) Low Voltage Power Supplies (LVPS).
The government seeks contractors with expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide depot-level test and repair services for five LVPS variants identified by National Stock Numbers and part numbers: 6130-01-381-3231EW (P/N 330454-104), 6130-01-591-9810EW (P/N 330454-107), 6130-01-408-3805EW (P/N 330454-106), 6130-01-407-5312EW (P/N 330454-105), and 6130-01-362-0928EW (P/N 330454-103). Crane Electronics, Inc. (CAGE 09062) is the original manufacturer and current sole-source repair contractor under contract FA8522-19-D-0003. The RMC/RMSC code is R3/B. Services must include obsolete parts resolution, deficiency report investigation, and material improvement projects. Contractors must furnish all materials, support equipment, tools, and test equipment; maintain configuration management; and ensure repaired items meet form, fit, function, and interface requirements per specification 12P3-2ALR56M-24. The government does not own technical data rights and has determined it uneconomical to reverse engineer, qualify alternative sources, or purchase data. Responses to the Contractor Capability Survey (Part I and Part II) must be submitted via email to Kylie Ordoyne (kylie.ordoyne@us.af.mil) and Joshua Robinson (joshua.robinson.63@us.af.mil) no later than close of business September 25, 2026. Both large and small businesses, joint ventures, and teaming arrangements are encouraged. This RFI is for informational planning and budgetary forecasting purposes only; no contract award will result from responses, and the government will not reimburse participation expenses.
