About this file

This document is a Sources Sought (Request for Information) for a C-130 Pressure Indicator, issued by the Air Force Sustainment Center Contracting Office. The market research aims to identify potential vendors with surplus C-130 Pressure Indicators (NSN 6620-01-394-4019 LG, PN 10401N01P00), a cockpit-mounted indicator that displays fuel tank pump output pressure between zero and 50 PSI. The original equipment manufacturer, Ametek, Inc., is no longer willing to produce the item, and the government lacks technical data access.

The AFSC Contracting Office intends to award a sole-source contract to Ametek, Inc. for manufacturing the Pressure Indicator in support of the C-130 program. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and interest by 03 JUNE 2025 via email to Tyler Martens. The government plans to procure these items using Other Than Full and Open Competition under FAR 6.302-1, with the requirement limited to new, unused surplus assets. This RFI is strictly for market research and information gathering, with no commitment to contract award and no funds available for response preparation.
