About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) from FCI McDowell, a federal facility located in Welch, West Virginia, for the supply of dairy products and eggs. The solicitation requires bidders to supply five line items: 20,000 individual units of pasteurized 2% chocolate milk in 1/2 pint containers; 100 pounds of cultured or acidified low-fat cottage cheese in 5-pound containers with a minimum 60-day shelf life; 65 pounds of pasteurized sour cream in 5-pound containers requiring weekly deliveries; 300,000 individual units of nonfat/skim milk in 1/2 pint plastic pouches; and 600 cases of fresh, U.S. Grade A medium eggs with 30 dozen per case, also requiring weekly deliveries.
Evaluation criteria prioritize past performance and delivery schedule, followed by socio-economic status and overall price. A critical requirement stipulates that all dairy products will be awarded to a single vendor based on past practice and overall pricing. Bidders whose quantities differ from posted amounts must provide recalculated pricing to match the posted quantities and clearly note their actual case counts; failure to provide these calculations will result in rejection of the line item bid price. The solicitation does not specify response or award dates in the provided excerpt.
