On what basis will you select the successful quote?

Quotes received by the Government will be evaluated using the evaluation factors in the RFQ and the procedures in FAR Part 13. NPS will select the single quote that represents the best overall value to the government based on price, technical, and past performance factors. Review the instructions and list of quote contents in the RFQ before submitting a quote.

System for Award Management (SAM) Registration Requirements The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official U.S. Government database of entities wishing to do business with the federal government. There is no fee to register at this site. Prior to the solicitation closing date, the prime contractor’s (quoter’s) SAM registration must show status as “Active” at https://sam.gov/content/home.

Where and how do I submit my quote?

Your quote must be submitted by email. Refer to the RFQ for detailed instructions, including e-mailing address and acceptable electronic file types and size limitations. Quotes transmitted on paper (delivered, mailed, or faxed) are not authorized and will not be considered.

When is my quote due?

Unless changed by amendment, your quote is due by the date and time specified in Block 8 of the Standard Form 1449. If the due date is extended, the new due date and time will be stated in the associated amendment.

How will I know if the solicitation has changed?

The official electronic Request for Quotations (RFQ) is posted in the Contract Opportunities section of the federal System for Award Management website (SAM, https://sam.gov/content/home). Prospective quoters will be required to visit this website periodically to check for amendments and other changes to the contract documents; no other notifications will be sent. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation.
