About this file

The document provided is a FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) related to a PORFP (Purchase Order Request for Proposal) for a VoIP phone system issued by the Maryland State Police (MSP). The PORFP is limited to PBX IV Master Contractors and requires the winning vendor to provide a full turn-key system, including delivery, installation, testing, and post-cutover support for a new phone system for the new Berlin Barracks location in Worcester County, Maryland. The vendor must be able to confirm proper operation of the CCIS VoIP network between the 26 MSP locations and provide onsite support for 2 days after cutover, with the option to adjust this if needed. The vendor must also provide a list of trained technicians and their locations to meet the requirements for responding to catastrophic issues.

Regarding pricing, the PORFP does not specify any standard service level agreements or response time requirements, as these are to be included by the vendor along with the manufacturer warranty. The vendor will also be responsible for verifying proper operation of the VoIP network and may need to visit sites to troubleshoot any issues. The new phone system is for a new building, and the vendor is not responsible for removing any existing equipment.
