About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details the requirements for certifying and inspecting fall protection systems for the 403d Maintenance Group (MXG) at Keesler Air Force Base. The contract involves engineering recertification and annual physical inspection of four fall protection systems located in four different buildings: 4278 Fuel System Repair, 4254 Reclamation and Repair Hangar, 4247 Isochronical Inspection Hangar, and 4217 Wash Rack.

The base period (2025-2026) and subsequent option periods (2026-2030) require the contractor to physically inspect and verify that each fall protection system meets OSHA, ANSI, and Department of Air Force standards. Key tasks include providing certified load reports, detailed inspection reports, and statements of system serviceability. The contractor must be authorized and licensed to inspect and potentially reverse engineer horizontal lifeline equipment. Repairs, if needed, will be quoted separately and require approval from the Contracting Officer. Work must be performed Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, with strict base access requirements including background checks for all contractor personnel.
