About this file
This document contains information about a federal contract opportunity for preventive maintenance services on two power transformers located in the Philippines. The scope of work includes oil regeneration services to improve the condition and maintain the effectiveness of the transformers. Key details include:
Site access and security clearance requirements, with a 3-day lead time needed to provide personnel information and vehicle registration. Scheduling and coordination must be done with the Contracting Officer's Representative to avoid disruptions, though no blackout periods are anticipated. The contractor is responsible for proper waste disposal in compliance with local laws. Specific equipment brands are not required, but transformer oil regeneration must meet performance standards. ASTM testing standards are preferred for electrical and oil quality testing, with flexibility on report formats. The contractor must report and obtain approval for any additional work identified beyond the initial scope. Insurance and local compliance requirements are specified. Planned power outages must be coordinated with the COR.
