About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for Solicitation FA9401-26-Q-0002, a new Aircrew Facility Support requirement at Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB). The solicitation covers linen processing services, with key details including an estimated 985 lbs of laundry per load, 40 loads per year, and a performance start date of 7 days after contract award. The government will provide the linens and three linen carts (to be delivered by end of December), and contractors must initially supply their own carts. Regarding linen processing, the government allows flexibility in meeting service requirements, specifically noting that pressing is not mandatory if linens can be laundered without wrinkles, with performance thresholds outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) Service Summary section 3, item SDS-7. Reference photos of Building 917 have been provided as an attachment in lieu of a site visit, and this is confirmed to be a new requirement with no incumbent contractor.
