About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for solicitation FA940125Q0009 regarding a vehicle lease requirement for the 73 AMU (Aircraft Maintenance Unit) of the Department of the Air Force.
The document contains a single Q&A exchange clarifying the required stake bed length for the vehicles. While the question asks whether stake beds need to be 12 FT, 24 FT, or 26 FT, the answer indicates that the length is flexible but the tonnage capacity is the key requirement. The response specifies that a vehicle similar to an F-550 will be needed for towing equipment, and if a specific length must be chosen, 24 FT is the preferred length.

73 AMU - Vehicle Lease
Questions & Answers
Q1: Please clarify if stake beds need to be 12 FT, 24 FT or 26 FT.
A1: The length is fine with any length the main thing would the tonnage. Something like an F-550 will be needed to tow the equipment around. If you need to have a specific answer for length, I will say 24FT.
