RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS

For

RFQ FA9301-11-M-B006

1. The Statement of work indicates the laboratory will supply "personnel, equipment, sample bottles, tools, and materials. Supervision and other items and services necessary to perform water analysis". The Statement of work does not address how supplies are to be furnished and samples returned to the lab. Will Edwards pay for the shipping costs of supplies and containers shipped to Edwards as a cost add on? Does Edwards pay for shipping of samples to the Lab? Please clarify this issue; shipping costs may exceed analytical costs for some testing.

Answer: All samples will be collected by Edwards AFB and the contractor will be responsible to for getting the samples to the lab for testing. The shipping costs of supplies and containers to Edwards will be included in the contract agreement. The shipping costs (or courier pickup of the samples) will also be included in this contract. They will not be a cost add on for Edwards.

2. Please clarify CLIN 008 "Annual Chemical Water Compliance Sampling Analysis" Is this simply an annual summary report of all data collected? Is this a group of several tests performed only once per year. If this refers to chemical tests, please list all parameters to be sought in the annual sample.

Answer: Annual Chemical Water Compliance Sampling Analysis is a group of several tests required by the State of California performed once per year (or every three years or as required). The parameters are in the attached excel file.

3. Is AFCEE or other government certification other than CDPH certification required to perform this testing?

Answer: No

4. Is subcontracting allowed?

Answer: Yes

5. Who is the incumbent for this work?

Answer: Zalco Laboratories, Inc
