About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA9101-26-Q-B057 that addresses technical specifications for a trailer system.
The document clarifies six key technical requirements for the procurement. The towing vehicle is specified as a road tractor (20T Freighliner), and the trailer itself is a drop deck low-profile variant with an overall length of 48 feet, consisting of an 11-foot upper deck and 37-foot lower deck. The lower deck height is 35.5 inches. Tire specifications call for 235/75r17.5 size. The kingpin height is standard at 48 inches and follows the 2-inch kingpin SAE J700 Standard specification. These technical clarifications appear to establish standardized equipment parameters for bidders responding to the solicitation.
