About this file
This is a Summary of Changes document for Amendment 2 to the AEDC Velocity Alliance Request for Whitepaper (RFWP). Amendment 2 finalizes and publishes the logistical details for the mandatory site visit, now officially designated as the Velocity Alliance Industry Day.
The amendment makes four primary updates to the RFWP. Section 3.0 (Onboarding and Selection Process, Step 4) replaces the vague "date specified by the Government" language with fixed Industry Day details: June 17, 2026, from 0800-1600 CST at the UTSI Auditorium located at 411 B H Goethert Parkway, Tullahoma, Tennessee 37388. Section 6.0 (Statement of Understanding) removes language deferring logistical details to a future time and now explicitly acknowledges the June 17 Industry Day at the UTSI Auditorium with reference to a new map attachment. Section 7.0 (Submission Schedule and Key Information) modifies the Onboarding Schedule table by replacing the broad "Mandatory Site Visit Window: 1 June 2026 - 30 June 2026" timeframe with the fixed date of Mandatory Industry Day on 17 June 2026 (0800-1600 CST). Additionally, a new attachment—Attachment 5: UTSI Map.pdf—has been added to the solicitation package to provide parking and entrance instructions for attendees. These changes establish firm, non-negotiable dates and locations for vendor participation in the onboarding process.
