About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a federal HVAC system contract (Solicitation Number: FA910125QB038) involving the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Test Center. The Q&A addresses two specific technical inquiries: (1) site voltage and phase information, referencing an attached generator data plate for technical specifications, and (2) HVAC system requirements. For the HVAC system, the document indicates a preference for a heat pump solution, but notes flexibility for alternative systems that can provide necessary cooling and heating capabilities. The response suggests that while Bard offers both heat pumps and cooling-only systems with electric resistance heat, the contractor has latitude in system selection provided the performance requirements are met.

Question Response

1 What is the site voltage and phase?

Please see attached (Generator60KWdataplate) data plate for the generator that will be used. It has the phases, voltage, and amps it can provide.

Bard has both heat pumps and Cooling only with electric resistance heat, what will be required on this site.

With what is required for the system a heat pump will probably work best but if contractor can provide the necessary cooling and heating with any other type of system that would be ok.
