#Comment / QuestionGovernment Response
Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? This solicitation is for a new requirement.
Would you please clarify whether the subject solicitation is a SINGLE award, or a MULTIPLE award opportunity? To clarify, this solicitation is a SINGLE award opportunity.
The solicitation makes note of both a "draft RFP" and an "RFP" with no modifier. Has the final RFP been released? If not, when will a final RFP be released? The final RFP was released on 13 APR 2021.
When does the Air Force intend to award a contract? This is dependent on many variables, however our tentative goal at the moment is prior to the end of the Government Fiscal Year 2021.
What sorts of technologies is the Air Force looking for with this solicitation? For instance, microwaves, lasers, EW technologies? Does the service have any requirements for those technologies that they can share publicly? This solicitation and resulting contract acquisition focuses on the entire Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems kill-chain and is intended to be utilized by all of the AFRL technical directorates and our stakeholders. The only identified requirement at this time is being solicited under Task Order 0001.
How many companies have indicated interest in responding to the solicitation? The Government's market research indicated that there were multiple capable Small Businesses to justify conducting the RFP as a competitive Small Business set-aside. Also there is a list of attendees from the C-sUAS Industry Day uploaded to the RFP solicitation notice on the betaSAM website.
The O&M Base and O&M Option CLINs period of performance will be split between two calendar years. Currently there is only one calendar year per CLIN in the pricing template. Also what is the objective of the Grand Total tab and does it need to be modified? The purpose of the Grand Total tab is to capture the entire cost of the Sample Task Order in one location. The pricing template did contain errors with only having one calendar year for each O&M CLIN and there were formula errors throughout the Grand Total tab. The pricing template has been updated and a new version has been uploaded to the betaSAM posting. Please ensure proposals are submitted with the updated version of the pricing template.
