About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) from the U.S. Space Force (USSF) or Space Systems Command (SSC) seeking information from potential offerors about establishing secure and reliable connectivity to an existing development environment. The government is requesting details about services that can provide appropriate connectivity for assigned and authorized personnel, with a response deadline of 26 June 2026.

Key details include that the specific facility supporting the request is not currently an accredited Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), but there is potential for Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) support. The RFI indicates that if selected for a future solicitation involving classified information, SSC or USSF can issue a DD Form 254 to sponsor a Facility Clearance (FCL) for the contractor's facility. Potential offerors are instructed to respond to requirements in Sections 5.0 and 6.0 of the document, and if unable to meet the deadline, specify the earliest date services will be available.

Question/Comment USG Response POC

This facility supports the SIL by providing secure and reliable connectivity through NIIDE, as well as provides internet access and workstation availability. However, this specific facility is not an accredited SCIF.

Given that the RFI references both SCIF and potential SAPF support, we want to ensure we fully understand the intended scope and security requirements before preparing our response.

The Government requests that information from potential offerors regarding services to establish a secure and reliable connection (appropriate level) to the existing NCMC-ITW/AA development environment for assigned and authorized personnel. Offerors shall respond to the RFI requirements outlined in Section 5.0 (Requested Information) and Section 6.0 (Additional Contractor Queries). If unable to fully meet these requirements by the deadline of 26 June 2026, please specify the earliest date by which these services will be available.

If selected for future solicitation or award, would SSC or USSF be able to issue a DD254 to support sponsorship of a Facility Clearance (FCL) for SCIF under the contract?

Yes, if an organization is selected for a future solicitaion or award that involves access to classified information, Space Systems Command (SSC) or U.S. Space Force (USSF) can issue a DD Form 254 to sponsor a Facility Clearance (FCL) for the contractor's facility. Offerors shall respond to the RFI requirements outlined in Section 5.0 (Requested Information) and Section 6.0 (Additional Contractor Queries). If unable to fully meet these requirements by the deadline of 26 June 2026, please specify the earliest date by which these services will be available.
