FA8723-24-R-0003 – Industry Day Instructions RFI Amendment 1
RFI Question & Answers
POCs: Lt Col Jessica Morgan (PM) and Mr. Mike Maule (PM)| Capt Jexenia Bennett (Contracting)
This is an amendment to the above reference RFI. This is not a solicitation or a new RFI. This amendment and its parent RFI do not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Furthermore, the Government is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept any unsolicited proposals. Please acknowledge that you have seen this amendment in any final submission provided in response to this RFI.
This amendment is being published to provide the answers to all questions received regarding the aforementioned RFI.
1 – Will there be an option to attend virtually?
No virtual presentations will be accepted
2 – Are presentations required?
Presentations are not required.
3 – What is the Government expecting with regards to industry presentations?
If a company wants to submit a presentation:
Format:
a. File format is PowerPoint or .pdf only.
b. Needs to be emailed to POCs listed in Industry Day Notice
c. Proper markings should be applied to presentations, to include protected or proprietary information.
Content expectations:
a. Summary of RFI input if a white paper was previously submitted.
b. Explanation of pros/cons submitted in white papers.
c. Identification of and detailed information on areas of PWS that would be most improved by implementing their white paper solution.
d. Identification of and detailed information on areas of PWS each company believes pose the most risk and a maximum of three (3) suggestions for reducing those risks.
4 – Do you expect industry to attend both days?
a. The first day includes the general session with the PMO for all attendees.
b. The Day 2 “Check-In” session is for the attendees who have their 1-on-1 Sessions between 0840 and 0950, so we can ensure the Visitor Control Facility has no changes to the approved Entry Access List that may affect them, and to adjust to any changes before it impacts the rest of the 1-on-1 sessions. It is not expected for companies scheduled after 1000 to arrive for the Check-in on Day 2. Those details will be provided in the confirmation instructions sent out to the two companies in those slots.
c. Industry should not anticipate attending both days, unless their 1-on-1 session occurs on Day 2.
Attendees should plan to arrive to the building and check in with the PMO 10 minutes prior to their 1-on-1 session start time.
