About this file

This document contains questions and answers pertaining to Amendment 03 of Broad Agency Announcement FA8650-22-S-5007 from the Air Force Research Laboratory. The amendment provides clarification on two issues. First, it confirms that fax numbers will not be provided for points of contact due to telework policies during the COVID-19 pandemic, and procurement information should not be transmitted via fax. Second, it specifies that the period of performance for Task Orders 0001 and 0002 issued under the announcement will be 63 months total, with 60 months allotted for technical work and 3 months for reporting. No other changes to the underlying BAA are included in the amendment.

The purpose of this amendment is to execute the following changes:

Q1) The BAA asks us to provide Fax numbers for the Contracting and Technical POCs. However, we believe that faxes are no longer used at AFRL. If that is not the case, can the government provide fax numbers?

Response: Due to a predominance of telework work environment at Wright- Patterson AFB based on FPCON Delta health and safety measures, procurement sensitive information shall not be transmitted via fax communications. Therefore, fax numbers are no longer necessary.

Q2) There is no period of performance specified for Task Orders 0001 and 0002.

Will the government specify the technical and reporting periods of performance for the Tasks?
