About this file

This document outlines a suggested format for statements of work under a basic indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract supporting the Materials Research and Survivability Studies II program. The suggested format includes sections for background, scope, technical requirements, deliverables, base support, security requirements, and associate contractor agreements. Technical areas of interest involve optical technology and materials, structured optical materials processing, non-linear electromagnetic materials processing, photonic materials advanced development, laser component technology, effects mitigation from laser or nuclear flash sources, and counter direct energy weapons applications. The Air Force is soliciting research to advance photonic materials and improve hardness and survivability for aircrew, components, sensors, structures, and systems. Separate task orders will include specific technical objectives relating to individual program requirements.
