Source Selection - Questions and Answers Pt. 3

Can the USG please confirm that it is the contractor's responsibility to cover the cost of shipping from FN Herstal to Travis Air Force Base?

USG Response:

The USG confirms it is not the contractor’s responsibility to cover the cost of shipping from FN Herstal to Travis Air Force Base. The Gun Pods will be shipped as FOB Destination and use a TAC that the army provides. DCMA Transportation handles the coordination of the shipment. The contractor will have to submit a SIR and provide all the info that is needed to DCMA. The contractor is not responsible for the transportation costs on the gun pods only. See SOW section 3.4.5.
