About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) supplement for Solicitation No. FA8604-25-R-B014, specifically addressing technical specifications for a loading dock leveler. The Q&A clarifies dimensional details about a Dockzilla model, confirming that slight variations in deck dimensions (length of 8' or 96" and width of 83" instead of the originally specified 8'x7') will be acceptable, provided the overall model remains the same as initially specified. The accompanying technical diagram provides precise measurements for the leveler, including overall width, leveler deck length and width, and leveler lip dimensions, which visually supports the textual clarification in the document.

Questions and Answers #2
1. The specification in the bid (8'X7') was based on the Dockzilla make and model name/description. The actual leveler platform or deck is smaller than that as it fits inside the frame of the unit. Contracting has requested a TPQ asking for the deck dimensions and this will be different from the description. (Lip out for example will get to 8' or 96" long and the width will be 83", not 84" or 7' feet.)
Answer:
The dimensions that you have stated that differ from what is specified will be acceptable given that the model is the same as what is specified.
