1. For the Order Picker in Appendix E, will it be operating in existing guiderail? What is the rail-to-rail distance required for the order picker to operate within?
“There are currently no guiderails that the order picker will interface with. The requirements for rail-guided steering (Appendix E - Sections 3.2.5.2 & 3.2.5.3) are being removed.”
2. App-E: page 9 & 10, BATTERIES.
The requirement states “ all batteries provided for the trucks shall be interchangeable between all similar trucks in the system”.
Question: Could you please provide a list of all those trucks are by make, model, serial numbers?
Otherwise we will provide a battery and a charger compatible with manufacturers recommended range.
“There are no other trucks (order pickers) interfacing with the system at this time. There will be no need to match with anything existing in this case.”
3. App-E: page 5, BATTERY COMPARTMENT:
The requirement states, “the battery and the battery compartment shall be compatible with the battery handling system” (presume on-site).
Question: please provide details of existing battery handling system, including make, model, serial number, and photo’s.
Or we will provide a battery and a charger compatible with manufacturers recommended range.
“There are no other battery handling systems interfacing with the system at this time. There will be no need to match with anything existing in this case.”
