FA8604‐23‐R‐B009

Wright‐Patterson Air Force Base, OH Questions/Answers Set 3 Date 12 June 2023

Questions/Responses:

1. Neither of the drawings determine which type of modular cabinets should be used where. Both drawings have two types of modular cabinets, but the actual drawings just say "MC" where each cabinet is located. This also affects pricing because we don't know which model is going where.

The customer would like to discuss at the Post Award how the overhead shelves will be configured in each building. The Overhead Shelving Appendix D states the number of units required for each "Type" and both drawings only show the "Type" called out for that building.

Overhead shelving Type A and B will go in building 30027 and Type C and D will go in building 20614.

2. A manufacturer has asked if a 6’ x 6’ mezzanine would be acceptable? Some pivot gates of that width may require addi onal length as well to operate correctly.

A 6' x 6' Mezzanine is acceptable. Both the drawing and appendix have been revised to reflect a 6' x 6' mezzanine. (The updated drawing and appendix will be reflected in Amendment 3)

3. Also, the mezzanine says it’s 5’ L x 6’ W in the spec, but on the drawing it shows 6’ W x 4’‐7” L.

Which dimensions should we use?

A 6' x 6' Mezzanine is acceptable. Both the drawing and appendix have been revised to reflect a 6' x 6' mezzanine. (The updated drawing and appendix will be reflected in Amendment 3)

4. Also, is this project prevailing wage?

No, prevailing wage is not applicable to this requirement.

5. Overhead Shelving: Based upon field verifica on of the exis ng cabinets, the depth of all exis ng cabinets is 27.75 in both buildings. The chart in item 3 calls for a depth of 28.5. Please advise on correct depth.

The Overhead Shelving PD has been revised to clarify how the overhead shelving shall interface with existing cabinets.

6. Can you also please send me the drop off link when you get a chance?

The DoD SAFE link for proposal submissions is h ps://safe.apps.mil/. Submission instruc ons can be found on the Addendums a achment.
