Question and Answer 1

Question: It looks like the attached is asking for one firm fixed price. For the other military groups we work with, we have 2 fixed prices. There is a cost difference so we have one price for the old generation (PS4, XB1, and Switch) and one price for the new generation games (PS5, XBO) Is this something that would be acceptable to your group?

Answer: The CLIN structure is location based. CLINs 0001 and 1001 apply to a Video Game Point Plan in Remote and Isolated locations. CLIN 0002 applies to DAF Base Libraries. The intent of the Government as noted in the Requirements Description, is that CLINs 0001, 1001, and 0002 shall provide a Video Game Point Plan in the following formats: Xbox 1, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Therefore, the offeror shall propose one firm fixed price for the associated CLIN in all formats requested. If there is a difference in price between generations, that would be acceptable as long as the different pricing is identified and combined as one total amount for each CLIN. The Government does not intend on having separate CLINs based on costs associated with new generation games versus old generation games.
