About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for the F20020 Furniture Project, a small-business set-aside procurement under NAICS 337214 requiring brand-name AIS Matrix systems furniture. The nonmanufacturer rule does not apply to this solicitation, and no class or individual waivers have been issued as of September 1, 2026. Electrical hookup must be performed by a Certified Electrician governed by DAFI 64-106, and contractors must supply all associated labor and materials. CMMC Level 1 compliance may be satisfied through a current self-assessment recorded in SPRS before award. Supporting pedestals must be painted metal with a Rectangular Pull finish in Metallic Silver.

The project involves two workstation configurations: WS1 (24 x 48 Hot Desk) and WS2 (5.5 x 5.5 Station). WS1 requires 2 Duplex Receptacles (4 plug-in points) per station with powered panels, monolithic panel types, and power at raceway height rather than belt-line height. The laminate finish color is currently unknown (TBD) but is specified as a solid pattern Grade A finish priced per the Statement of Work. WS2 requires the same duplex outlet configuration with power on both the 36-inch and 42-inch panels at raceway height, includes a Surface Mounted Power Ashley 202 Clamp (Model # E-A202TCW), and may require communication poles for base-feed powered stations. Both workstation types feature panel fabric in Cape Cod/Falmouth, Innertone paint, and full-height monolithic panels with no stackers. CAD drawings are available through direct request to the Contract Specialist and Contracting Officer due to file upload limitations on SAM.gov, with ".dwg" files requiring email request.
