About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) response issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) regarding solicitation FA8601-26-Q-0069 for Collaborative Furniture F20643 PH4. Dated 23 July 2026, the document addresses four inquiries submitted by potential contractors regarding specifications for the furniture item.

The key clarifications provided are: (1) ST2 collaborative furniture must feature a mesh back rather than a wood back; (2) laminate is a mandatory requirement for the product; (3) dimensions of 15-18 inches deep and 30 inches wide are acceptable, with variance from standard sizing approved; and (4) the furniture unit must be mounted on metal legs with six paint color options available, rather than being flush to the floor. These answers establish definitive requirements for contractors responding to the solicitation and resolve ambiguities present in the original solicitation documents.
