Question: What are the existing 160 speakers in the hanger? If they are 70V, what are they tapped at?
(this is needed to calculate the amplifier sizes) Answer: Electro-Voice ELX200-12 with 70V 100W High Power Speaker Line Matching Transformer in Hangar Bay 1 and 2. Electro-Voice EVID 4.2 in Hanger bay 4 with 70v taps but not sure which wattage (7.5W,15W, 30W)
Question: How many zones all together? Will the Hanger Bays be split at all?
Answer: Hangar Bay 1 should split between the Early years and WWII Galleries. Hangar Bay 2 can all be on one zone. Hangar Bay 3 can all be one zone. Hangar bay 4 should split to allow for the event area in Space Gallery not to have PA sound bleed over when needed.
Question: Is background music required? if so, same music for all zones or selected by zone?
Answer: Yes background music should be selectable from different inputs. Each zone should be selectable to play whichever input is needed. Background music should be superseded by paging console and automated announcements when necessary.
Question: What sources are required for Paging? Microphone? How many? Where do they go?
Answer: Yes Please reference the SOW Section B-1-ii and Section B-1-iii. This will be located at the atrium information desk and will be the only paging unit.
Question: Is phone paging required?
Answer: No as I don’t think that is allowed with the Base VoIP telephone system.
Question: Could you provide the manufacturer, make and model of the existing Security Camera System because the statement of work specifies interface to it?
Answer: AXIS Camera Station S1296
