SUBJECT: Response to Inquiries regarding FA8601-23-Q-0131
QUESTIONS
We are aware today that the following items are in the existing panels currently installed. #1 and #2.
1-Existing panels have knockouts in the top caps. This is an upcharge. Do you want that? This is not specified anywhere in the statement of work.
ANSWER: Yes, we do need knockouts in the top caps.
2-Existing panels have interior vertical cable routing and are specified for each side of the panel. This is an upcharge. Do you want that? This is not specified anywhere in the statement of work.
ANSWER: Yes, we do need interior vertical cable routing for each side of the panels
Use of Existing Product 3-There is a statement that says Government will supply inventory list of existing products available for use. Where is this list can you provide or is the existing plans the list?
ANSWER: The existing plan should be used as the inventory list
4-Are you able to provide an AutoCad or DWG plan for this space?
ANSWER: Not at this time. Due to security requirements, CAD files will be provided to the awarded vendor. If there are questions about the building conditions, critical dimensions, we can provide answers to those specific questions as needed.
As the Statement of Work reads under Salient Characteristics, it states each station to have min. 2 technical duplexes and 2 house duplexes. Does that mean you want a base power infeed or power pole for every two workstations?
The Statement of Work also does not indicate whether you want a base power in feed or power pole. Please let us know which one is needed.
ANSWER: For E142, we require power poles.
Depending on the circuits available in the furniture, the vendor should determine how many power poles are required to meet the following configuration:
Maximum 6 duplex outlets on 1 house circuit Maximum 4 duplex outlets on 1 tech circuit Each station to have 2 house duplexes and 2 house duplexes.
Scenario:
With a 3 circuit system, you’d need 1 tech power pole for every 6 stations and 1 house power pole for every 9 stations
