Question 1.

For method Mil-PRF26536, can you clarify if this will be run in series or not? This will make a difference with the instrument configuration.

Answer 1.

The answer to question one (1) is yes we need configuration to be in series so results can come from a single vial.

Question 2.

With regards to software (Chromeleon) to control the instrument, what is the set up? From what I can see, there are currently 4 GC instruments, one will be used for trade-in and 3 GC instruments will need software to control the instrument. Will it be one computer for three instrument and another computer for two instruments? Will one computer control all the Agilent instrument and the second computer control the Thermo instruments?

Answer 2.

We currently have (5) GCs. (2) are being replaced and both of those may be taken for a credit. All (5) GCs (the two new ones and (3) old ones must run off the same software and software version). We want to use (2) computers to run the (5) GCs. We could set it up so that the (2) thermo GCs are on one computer and the (3) Agilent GCs on the second computer.
