Q&A 2
Q: I was looking at the sample dual hat editing console desk that you have posted. I can see that the desk tops are straight-edged, I was wondering if a curved-edge is acceptable for evaluation?
A: Curved edge desks are acceptable. Just to clarify, the provided picture is just an example. The desk does not have to be a straight-edged or dual tiered desk. The important features are (not in priority order):
1. A 6’ desk
1. Capable of holding (3) 27” monitors that can be configured to meet classified system separation guidance
1. Wheeled for ease of movement around a room.
Q: The console desk doesn't seem to have power for height adjustment, if we are to quote with a power on the frame, is this going to be acceptable as well?
A: Yes, vendors may submit powered solutions for height adjustable desks.
Q: Do you have the name of the manufacture for the desks?
A: Desk pictures are for reference. The functional aspects of the desk are what will be measured against. The requirements are listed in the SOW, but include:
1. - length and width (eg. must be 6' long);
2. - 3x monitor support requirments (that are configurable to meet classified separation requriments)
3. - desks must have wheels for easy configuration
Q: Do you have the width of the storage locker?
A: Pictured lockers are 36" wide
Q: Do you have the size of the wheeled white board?
A: Pictured white board is 72" x 48"
Q: Are all the rooms on the main level? If not kindly provide the floors.
A: Rooms are on the 2nd Floor.
Q: Are there any stairs involved?
A: There is an elevator for furniture movement (72" length x 80" width with a 42.5" Door).... There are also stairs if the elevator does not work.
Q: Also is there a loading dock?
A: No loading dock. Delivery truck will need a means to lower cargo from truck height to ground level and then moved from curbside direct into the building (~50 ft). The area is paved sidewalk and there are NO steps between curb and building.
