Questions and Answers 1

A potential offeror has asked the following questions:

Question 1 - Vertical Focusing Stage - WHAT IS THIS?

Answer 1 - This is a tall mount/bar that the camera is attached too that allows the camera to move up and down the mount precisely to permit focusing by height to the specimen.

Question 2 - Thermalyze electronics analysis software or equivalent with hot spot detection, - WHAT IS THIS? WHAT DOES THE SOFTWARE NEED TO DO?

Answer 2 - This software must utilize data from an IR camera for the purpose of temperature and time characterization. This software must have a modern and intuitive user interface. The software must have failure analysis tools that helps test the thermal performance of devices and circuit boards. The software must allow for calibration of temperature by different emissivity (i.e. emissivity table) for multiple materials being imaged. The software must also be able to detect slight increases in temperature due to hot spots (temper rise of 0.01 C).
