Questions from Industry regarding Combined Synopsis/Solicitation No. FA8601-13-T-0127
1. What resolution (expressed in nm) is the spectrometer to have?
A resolution of at least 2 nm is needed, preferably 1 nm.
2. Should the spectrometer be a: A) multi element array that uses a CCD or PDA detector, or B) a single element detector type that allows the scanning of the spectrum of interest (210 to 400 nm)?
Fewer moving parts is best from a reliability standpoint, however, there is no particular preference for the sensor arrangement as long as it meets the requirements.
