About this file
This is a Question and Answers document for federal contract FA8571-26-Q-0054 concerning Power Supply Frequency Converters. The document addresses four key clarifications regarding converter specifications and procurement requirements.
The primary technical clarification concerns voltage output specifications. Respondents questioned whether the requirement called for variable voltage output adjustment (0-135 VAC) or constant voltage output (typically 120/208 or 115/200 VAC for 400 Hz units). The government confirmed that constant voltage is required and indicated the Purchase Description (PD) was updated to clarify this specification. The converters are intended for a new Indicator Test Station. Regarding sourcing, the government confirmed no specific brand name or part number is mandated; however, all submitted converters must conform to the requirements stated in the Purchase Description. This document does not include response dates, pricing terms, or award information, serving only to clarify technical specifications through vendor inquiries.

Question and Answers
Question 1:
Are you looking for a variable voltage output adjustment by stating 0-135 VAC? Or do you need a constant voltage (typically 120/208 or 115/200 VAC for 400 Hz)?
Answer:
Constant voltage – we have updated the Purchase Description (PD) to clarify this requirement.
Question 2:
Can you share the application requiring the converter?
Answer:
This is for a new Indicator Test Station.
Question 3:
Before sending our quote, we would like to double-check the output of this unit. Usually on 400Hz unit the output is 200VAC, can you confirm you are looking for a variable 3 phase 0 to 135VAC output
Answer:
We have updated the PD to clarify the required specifications. If this does not answer your question, please reach out.
Question 4:
May I ask if you have a specific brand or part number?
