About this file
This document is an AFMC Form 158 Packaging Requirements specification for purchase instrument FD20602700011-00, Version 3, dated September 3, 2026. The document establishes packaging and marking standards for four distinct line items (with PACRNs AAA, AAB, AAC, AAD, and AAE) across military procurement requirements.
For items 5821016576452CX and 5821016644605CX (PACRN AAA), the specification mandates MIL Long Line Packaging at Preservation Level MIL and Packaging Level B. These items require unit pack dimensions of 34.5" length × 20.5" width × 17.0" depth with a cube of 6.957 and weight of 57.00 pounds. All wooden lumber, pallets, and containers must be constructed from debarked, heat-treated wood (heated to 56°C/133°F for 30 minutes minimum) to comply with United Nations restrictions on wood packaging material concerning invasive species. Certification and marking by an accredited agency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee (ALSC) is required, with reference to International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM No. 15). Items shall be packaged per MIL-STD-2073-1 and marked per MIL-STD-129, with shipping containers requiring additional marking and bar coding for unit serial numbers, OEM names, and model numbers as specified. Items 9999DTL2602D8, 9999OSL25004D, and 9999OSL2600BD (PACRNs AAB, AAC, and AAD) require no packaging data. Item 5821016576453CX (PACRN AAE) requires MIL Long Line Packaging at Preservation Level MIL and Packaging Level B with dimensions of 25.0" length × 19.0" width × 16.5" depth, weight of 31.00 pounds, and a cube of 4.535, with identical military packaging and marking requirements.
