About this file
This document outlines packaging requirements and a related federal contract opportunity notice for F-15 aircraft components. The packaging requirements provide specifications for preservation levels, packaging materials, and marking standards for items including central computers, connectors, and other electronic components in accordance with MIL standards. The related opportunity notice indicates the Air Force's intent to issue a sole source, five-year contract to Lockheed Martin for the repair of multiple national stock numbers supporting depot-level maintenance of F-15 Very High Speed Integrated Circuitry Central Computers. The estimated quantities and delivery schedule will be included in forthcoming attachments. Responses to the notice are due by February 2, 2024. The justification cited is that only one responsible source can meet the agency's requirements for these parts.
