Repairs are required for National Stock Numbers 6625-01-521-6099EW, 6625-01-521-2256EW, 6625-01-533-2767EW, 6625-01-533-4046EW, 6625-01-533-4055EW, and 6625-01-533-4038EW. Production is applicable to National Stock Numbers 6625-01-497-7780EW, 6625-01-516-8238EW, and 6625-01-533-4055EW. The requirement has a seven year period of performance including option periods and a turnaround time of 120 days after receipt of a funded order. Harris Corporation is the sole source as no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The anticipated solicitation release date is 3 April 2018.

Questions & Answers PLM-4 Radar Signal Simulator (RSS)

1) For accessory case repairs, cosmetic issues such as missing or broken foam, hinges, handles, wheels etc. will be dealt by replacing the accessory case shell.
Answer: Concur.
2) For accessory case repairs, if a part is non-functional or deemed bad, it will be replaced by the current configuration parts only. Items such as the ELM Programmer, A6 CCA programmers fall under this category. If older A6 CCA Programmers are deemed bad, they will be replaced with the current configuration programmers. If a Serial ELM Programmer is deemed bad, it will only then be replaced with the newer USB ELM Programmers.
Answer: Concur.
3) For accessory case repairs, the O&M manuals and the ELM SW will not be replaced and if accessory cases are shipped with these items, these items will be removed and destroyed prior to the accessory case being shipped back.
