About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers file for a Protestant Service Music Director contract opportunity at Robins Air Force Base. The document provides critical details about the current worship service requirements, including service schedules, choir sizes, and available instruments. Specifically, the Protestant service occurs on Sundays at 1100 hours with a Tuesday practice at 1645, and the choir ranges from 4-8 parishioners with volunteer musicians playing guitar, bass, drums, and piano. The previous contract (F3Q0AC3160AW02) was terminated early due to not meeting requirements, and there is currently no incumbent contractor.

Key technical details include available musical instruments (grand piano, acoustic drums, acoustic guitars), confirmation that music sheet CCLI certification will be funded by the chapel, and volunteer accompanists are available. A notable administrative detail is a typographical error in the unit count, with the actual total being 156 units for 2 worship services and 1 rehearsal per week over 52 weeks (previously incorrectly listed as 120 units), which has been updated in the Performance Work Statement sent to the Contracting office. The document suggests the government is seeking a new music director to support Protestant worship services with specific performance requirements.
