Question: Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?

Answer: This is a new requirement. We have no current or previous information on this specific type of work being performed.

Question: In regards to the recently posted RFQ, I have researched the GA Deptment of Environmental Quality's web site, the Testing required for this "License is to drill or install wells.

We have cleaned sanitary wells in the past in Georgia and other states and have never faced this requirement. Please elaborate.

Answer: This a requirement because the State of Georgia uses this to guarantee that contractors have the experience necessary to perform construction activities on wells and the pumps. These contractors that have obtained a Well Contractors license are experienced and qualified to perform the work on domestic water wells. This is the best way to differentiate between qualified contractors and non-qualified contractors. This is why this is a qualification to work on the wells at RAFB.
