SECOND SET OF QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1) Why are the controls being removed from the oven equipment?

Current controls do not have the capability to record and control part thermocouples, or vacuum.

2) Does the process require new or different controls? Were the original controls damaged?

Process requires enhanced capability over existing control system. Original controls are functioning.

3) Has the process changed?

Process requires cures that control oven temperature dependent upon part temperature in order to follow cure profiles, and vacuum levels that follow cure profiles. Ability to create and store more than 25 cure profiles with multiple temperature and vacuum steps. Ability to digitally store data from runs.

4) Is the function of the oven being changed?

Function of the oven has not changed.

5) Please describe existing vacuum manifold system. Provide detailed photographs.

Vacuum pump with on/off switch not connected to oven control is plumbed to a 2" x 5' pipe that is the current manifold. Ten vacuum lines are connected to the manifold with a manual ball valve and a bourdon tube vacuum gauge. These lines penetrate to the inside of the oven terminating with female quick connect hydraulic couplings. Photos attached.
